International Luncheon: The Impact of Politics on International Mobility

Speakers: Matthew Andrews, University of Gloucestershire, John Yopp, University of Kentucky (Emeritus), Meredith McQuaid, University of Minnesota System

Abstract The recent political changes in the U.S. and the Brexit vote in the U.K. have been widely covered across the globe. Threads of nationalism and isolationalism can create a sense that international students may be unwelcome and cause them to look elsewhere to study-- or just stay home.
