The Professional Needs of SEM: A Mixed Methods Study of the Current and Future Needs of Senior Enrollment Officers

Abstract

This session reports on the results of a two stage data gathering process that considers the current and future professional needs of enrollment managers. The first data gathering exercise involved a group of forty enrollment managers from across the nation.  Using a modified (Haughey, N.D.) participants were asked to identify the current institutional and public policy factors that are affecting their priorities and activities.  In addition to the use of the Delphi Technique to gather data, we also surveyed. The survey was sent to over 2,000 enrollment professionals.
